  OLR is responsible for the Occupiers’ Liability (NI) Act 1957 and the Occupiers’ Liability (NI) Order 1987. These two pieces of legislation govern the level of responsibility that occupiers of land owe to people coming on to their land, for example lawful visitors or trespassers.
