OLR is responsible for the Occupiers’ Liability (NI) Act 1957 and the Occupiers’ Liability (NI) Order 1987. These two pieces of legislation govern the level of responsibility that occupiers of land owe to people coming on to their land, for example lawful visitors or trespassers.

- Over Threshold Pre-Qualification Documentation Construction Works
The Construction Industry Forum for Northern Ireland (CIFNI) agreed a revised PQQ standard template (Version 03) on the 28th February 2011. Government Construction Clients will pre-qualify enterprises for works projects commenced after 1st March 2010 using, as far as practicable, a PQQ based template.
Through the AE initiative, central Government departments and wider public sector organisations commit to maximise, by continuous improvement, the efficiency, effectiveness and value for money of their procurement of new works, maintenance and refurbishment, the diagram takes a visitor through inception to award of contract and close of project.
