For the funding period 2007-2013 Northern Ireland will benefit from four EU Programmes:
- European Sustainable Competitiveness Programme
- European Social Fund Programme
- PEACE III Programme
- Cross Border Territorial Co-Operation Programme (INTERREG IVA)

European Union Structural Funds in Northern Ireland
In the 2007-2013 funding round, Northern Ireland receives EU Structural Funds under the EU Cohesion Policy. Because of the increasing prosperity of the region measured against average European Union wealth, we no longer require support at the highest level (Convergence Objective) but still expect to receive approximately €1.1 billion from all streams of European Funding.
