Leo O'Reilly
Leo O’Reilly took up the post of Permanent Secretary Department of Finance and Personnel (DFP) in July 2008. He had previously been the Second Permanent Secretary since October 2007.
He oversees the Department’s responsibilities for public expenditure, public sector procurement, economic analysis and its relationships with HM Treasury and the European Commission. Previously, he held posts as Budget Director, Head of European Division, and Head of Equal Opportunities and Appointments Division in DFP. He joined the Northern Ireland Office in 1979 and held a number of posts in that Department before moving to DFP in 1997.
