Fees Regulations
The Building (Prescribed Fees) Regulations (NI) 1997 authorise district councils to charge fees for certain functions prescribed by the 1979 Order. They also establish the level of fees that may be charged, and list any exemption to each fee.
The Prescribed Fees Regulations consultation closed on 23rd November 2012.
An amendment to the Prescribed Fees Regulations 1997 came into operation on 8th April 2013.
A copy of the Prescribed Fees Regulations 1997 and the Building (Prescribed Fees) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2013 may be purchased from The Stationery Office or may be viewed online on the website of the Office of Public Sector Information, www.opsi.gov.uk.
