IT Security

The main objective of the DID IT Security Team is to provide IT security advice and guidance to the Northern Ireland Civil Service.

The team assists the NICS departments directly by undertaking risk assessments of their key systems and benchmarking their security procedures against current Government standards. The team also acts as a focal point for service-wide IT security initiatives including the maintenance of policy and the promulgation of education and awareness material.
