The Northern Ireland Best Practice Scheme

The Northern Ireland Best Practice Scheme, which is managed by the Reform Delivery Unit, has been running since 2004 with the aim of providing real examples of quality improvements in the delivery of services to citizens.
Through the scheme, staff from the wider Northern Ireland public sector and voluntary / community sectors are given the opportunity to visit host organisations, assess working practices, and benchmark their own performance against key aspects of service improvement. Participants can then use the experiences of others to develop their own knowledge and skills to improve their service delivery.
Following an application process the following organisations were selected as scheme participants for Round 3:
The scheme was launched in January 2008 and the programme of events is currently underway.
Further information on the scheme is available from Helena White on 028 9081 6030 (email: helena.white@dfpni.gov.uk).
