Building Sustainable Prosperity Programme

The Northern Ireland Programme for Building Sustainable Prosperity (BSP) was one of two Operational Programmes which implemented the Community Support Framework (CSF). BSP funding amounted to 929 m euro (approximately £600 m).

The BSP Programme assisted a range of projects to develop economic growth, employment, urban and social revitalization, agriculture, rural development, forestry, fisheries and the environment. BSP was delivered mainly through the NI Government departments.

The Operational Programme is available in full and in summary format in English as attachments on this website, with Urdu and Cantonese versions available on request from the secretariat.

The BSP Programme ran from 2000-2006 and is now in closure stage.
