Funding 2007-2013

As the current period of Structural Funds programmes comes to an end, the Commission and European Institutions, the Member States and the regions are preparing for funding programmes beyond 2006.

UK Strategic Framework for future EU Structural Funds in the UK

On 28 February 2006, Alun Michael (Minister of State for Industry and the Regions) made a written statement to Parliament launching the consultation exercise on a draft UK National Strategic Reference Framework for future Structural Funds Programmes.
The consultation attracted 320 responses. The Government's response to the consultation and the UK's National Strategic Reference Framework are available on the DTI website and on our own Publications page.  The allocations for the UK's Competitiveness Programmes are set out in an Annex to the National Framework.
