Learning & Development

Learning and development in support of Programme and Project Management (PPM) is a key component of overall success. Accredited practitioner level training in the established methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) will add value for those with key PPM responsibilities. These courses should be undertaken on the basis of business need.

In partnership with Central Procurement Directorate's Centre of Expertise (CPD/CoE) for PPM, the NICS Centre for Learning & Development (CAL) provide other levels of training for those involved in PPM as follows:

  • Introduction to Business Cases and Economic Appraisal·

The Gateway Review process is mandatory for all significant Programmes and Projects and is covered as follows:

  • Preparation For Gateway Review·
  • Understanding The Gateway Process·
