NI Gateway Lessons Learned
A number of Gateway reviews have now been delivered in Northern Ireland (NI) by the Central Procurement Directorate's Centre of Expertise for PPM (CPD/CoE) since its establishment in early 2006. These include all High Risk reviews, delivered since the return of Devolved government in May 2007 when OGC relinquished responsibility for Gateway in NI.
Lessons learned are extracted from Gateway Review Final Reports and published on yearly basis as key themes and sub lessons.
These lessons are intended to support and assist those involved in current Programmes & Projects as well as those embarking on new initiatives, by learning from the experiences of others. Programmes & Projects from which these lessons are drawn will have proceeded through to successful delivery but may have done things differently with hindsight in certain areas. Lessons learned from the NI Gateway process will give new Programmes & Projects the benefit of seeing these in advance.
