Lessons Learned - Public Accounts Committee

An important source for Lessons Learned is the Public Accounts Committee. The NI Assembly Public Accounts Committee was set up to consider accounts, and reports on accounts, laid before the Assembly.

Edward Leigh MP served as the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committe at Westminster from 2001 to 2010. Standing down from this post in 2010, he wrote an open letter to his successor reflecting on the lessons to be learned from his nine years at the helm of the PAC.
