Flexible Working Zone

The flexible working zone gives a flavour of furniture and technology solutions that might support various working scenarios. You can also try out some of the new remote communication and work tools in this zone, simulating multi-location working scenarios with colleagues.
Workplace NI objectives aim to create a modern, flexible working environment to enable the delivery of better public services, and in a more cost-effective way by consolidating and reducing the size of the NICS Office Estate and maximising the utilisation of space;
In addition to the desks, a choice of other formal and informal shared alternative work-settings are provided;
• Touchdown areas for short-stay / visitor working
• Work tables for meetings, individual working (perhaps where you need space to spread out!) or team or project-based working
Clare House showcases an “agile” workspace with efficient space utilisation by roll-out of the Workplace NI standards. Here, various teams use a range of new shared worksettings to support their dynamic workstyles and aid productivity and communication. The workspace includes team tables, booths, desks and a quiet zone. You can visit this workspace as a future@work tour.
