A one hour online session (webchat) will be held on the NI Direct website on Thursday 21 April to answer queries:
You should send your questions to NI Direct before Wednesday 20 April (1.00pm). An LPS official will post responses on nidirect on Thursday 21 April at 2.30pm. An LPS spokesperson said: "Rate bills were issued to homes and businesses across Northern Ireland in the last week. Ratepayers will also have received an information booklet with their bill which contains useful information about how their bill is calculated, methods of payment, and how they can get help with paying their rates.
"A range of reliefs and entitlements are available to help those who are struggling to pay their rates, but many people are simply not claiming the allowances they are entitled to.
"We would encourage ratepayers who would like further information about the help that is available or who have any other rating queries to participate in the webchat."
