The Equality Scheme contains information on how DFP proposes to fulfil the duties imposed on it by Section 75 of the NI Act 1998. Section 75 of, and Schedule 9 to, the Act came into operation on 1 January 2000, bringing important new responsibilities to public authorities regarding promotion of equality of opportunity.
