As recommended by the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, the Department carried out an "Audit of Inequalities" - an indepth scrutiny of all the Department's business to determine what, if any, inequalities existed.
The findings of this audit were used to develop an Action Plan which details the measures which the Department proposes to take to ensure ensure equality of opportunity for all our staff and customers.
